Facepainted for charity yesterday.  you wouldnt think it was exhausting but it was.  didnt sit down for around four hours, no food since breakfast, and having to wipe a mixture of mucus and icecream from a small childs chin is not my idea of a great saturday.
However, it was for charity, which made it all worth it.  even when repeatedly asked to paint penises on adolescent boys faces.  
and we raised over a hundred pounds in less than four hours
i hope with that we can help at least one child in India.

Well.  Off to the tate and various other art gallerys tomorrow.  
england is sunny at the moment.  but i still miss home.  here, a sunny day is a miracle.  it makes me want to go outside rather than sleep. which is rare.  but at home, a rainy day is a miracle, so much so that people pray for it.  when it rains, the thunder is so loud it makes me jump, and the lighting makes the night into day.  i stand outside when it rains, watch the dust jump as the fat raindrops hit it.
england is pretty. it has four seasons, good education, money and opportunity.  but tanzania is home, and nothing can ever be africa

Visited a temple today...it's one of the most famous in London, having had solid marble shipped from Italy to India to be hand carved then shipped to London.  I havent felt that peaceful in a long time, and it was an amazing feeling to experience that level of tranquility and belonging even though I didnt even follow that religion.  To all of you who live near London, i highly recommend it.  Once in a life time experience for sure. x

Well, today I put some art on here for the first time and was amazed to see people respond.  I felt...priveleged to have touched people in some way.  
Tomorrow off to visit a temple as part of our schools idea of becoming worldly people.  Fun fun.  Keep on devianting, people x
